Marcine F. Thomasson, 89, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Windsor Place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 6:00pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, followed immediately by a memorial service at 7:00pm from the funeral home Chapel.

Mrs. Thomasson was born March 30, 1930 in Millport, AL, to the late Mack and Lina Fowler, the last remaining survivor of twelve siblings. She was a devout Christian and Baptist by faith. She worked primarily from home as a homemaker and was the proud wife of a WWII Veteran. She loved her family immensely and especially enjoyed reuniting with others at family reunions. She enjoyed playing games and had earned herself the proud honor of "BINGO Queen" among the residents at Windsor Place.

In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband: Louis Thomasson.

Mrs. Thomasson is survived by two sons: Alan Thomasson of Gulfport, MS and Larry (Jenny) Thomasson of Columbus; one grandson: Bryant (Jessica) Thomasson; one great grandson: Hunter Thomasson and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
