Margaret Marie Green 88, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 2:30 – 3:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Matt Moehring officiating.

Ms. Green was born November 10, 1934, in Lind, WA to the late David Lobe and Maggie Faser Lobe. Ms. Green was an Office Manager at the hospital for many years. She was a member of Sovereign Faith Baptist Church in Steens, MS. In addition to her parents, Ms. Green is preceded in death by her 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and 1 great-grandchild.

Ms. Green is survived by her sons- James (Shirley) Green, Mark (Rhoda) Green, Robert (Suzette) Green, and Charles (Terri) Green; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, brothers- Jerry (Fran) Lobe, and Bill Waymire.
