Margaret Lunette Nickoles, 86 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be Friday, May 12, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Interment will be at Mt Vernon Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus MS directing.

Mrs.Nickoles was born September 17, 1936, in Macon, MS to the late Robert Aaron Butler and the late Nelie Weir Butler. Mrs. Nickoles worked many years as an Assembly Worker at United Technologies in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Nickoles was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she enjoyed traveling and going on vacations. In addition to her parents, Mrs.Nickoles is preceded in death by her husband- Johnnie Ray Nickoles; daughter- Donna Henry, son- Johnnie Robert Nickoles, five brothers, and one sister.

Mrs. Nickoles is survived by her daughters- Barbara Nickoles, Margaret (Charles) Aldridge; son- Rickey Nickoles, son in law – Buddy Henry, Grandchildren- Becky Pearson, Melissa (Jeremy) Duke, Kelly (Ken) Mason, Audrey Sullivan, Murray (Morgan) Henry, Whittney Childers, Emily Brooke (Dalton) Estes, Cody Nickoles, Kayla Scarborough (Kyle Coleman), and 19 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Murray Henry, Levi Mason, Ken Mason, Dalton Speed, Jeremy Duke, and Kyle Coleman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Aldridge, Lamar Harris, Buddy Henry, Dr. Brett Brown, and Baptist Hospice.
