Margaret Summerville Perry, 87, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at Promise Rehabilitation Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX.

Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2020, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will be Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Brick M.B. Church, Columbus, MS with Pastor Everett Little officiating. Interment will be in Brick M.B. Church Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

On April 1, 1932, Margaret Perry was born to the proud parents of the late Hence and Hannah Summerville. She confessed faith in Christ at an early age at the Brick Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her passing. Margaret was employed at Caldwell High School until she retired. After her retirement from working, she started taking care of her grandchildren and other family members. She was a great caregiver and a wonderful friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie L. Perry; her sons- Flozell Perry and Jerry Jenkins; her sisters- Mary Jenkins, Lizzie Williams, Georgia McKinley, Daisy Summerville, and Buelah DeLoach; her brothers- Robert Summerville, Hence Summerville, Jr., Willie Summerville, and Jimmy Summerville.

She leaves to cherish her memories: son- Johnnie L Perry; daughter- Joe Elaine (Donald Wayne) McDougle of Lawton, OK; one grandson- Joezille (JD) D. McDougle of Lawton, OK; two granddaughters- Europa C. McDougle of Tokyo, Japan and Patricia Margaret Perry of Lawton, OK; two great-granddaughters- Jennavecia Alfaro McDougle and Gracelyn L. McDougle of Lawton, OK; nine nieces, six nephews, a host of great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
