Margie Fuqua, 98, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Baptist Health Systems.

The funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS, with Mike Fuqua officiating.  Interment will be at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS, with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Ms. Fuqua was born December 3, 1923, in Millport, AL, to the late Hendrix C. House and Colie Ross House.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved her church family.  Ms. Fuqua was an avid reader and homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family, who she loved very much.

Margie Fuqua is survived by her husband – Roy Fuqua; sons Danny and Mike (Tonia) Fuqua; daughters Sharon (Willie) Menotti and Sandra (Jud) Harper; grandchildren – Jennifer Brandt, David Fuqua, Dana Putt, Christine Lasher, Machele Fallaw, Todd Harper, and Kevin Fuqua; 14 greatgrandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.  Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Batts, Bill Mason, Parr Colvin, and the Staff of Trinity Assisted Living.
