Margie Eveline Hall, age 83, of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Sanctuary Hospice House, Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carl Hall officiating and Bro. Bill Duncan assisting. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Hall was born in ElRod, AL on December 3, 1934, to the late William Martin and Annie Propst Hall. She lived in Columbus most of her life graduating from Lee High School in 1955 and MSCW (now MUW) in 1961. Mrs. Hall and her brother William owned and managed the Ranch House Properties in Columbus until his death in 1992. In 1992 Margie married a Lee High School classmate, Fred Hall (no relation) and began another career in western wear, rental properties, and Elm Lake Golf Course. In Margie's retirement years she enjoyed cooking, playing golf and thoroughly enjoyed her two granddaughters. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her brothers- William, Bud, Tom, O'Neal, Jack and her sisters Opal Shuttlesworth, Louise Kirk, Lucille Rogers, and Mary Sue Parker.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband- Fred Hall of Columbus, MS; step-son- John A. (Tammy) Hall of Huntsville, AL; step-daughter- Jennifer L. Hall of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughters- Raegan and Presley Hall of Huntsville, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.
