Marie Ann Matheny, 78, of Birmingham, AL passed away Monday, December 25, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Ms. Matheny was born October 29, 1939, in Hillsboro, OR to the late Henry Michael Brazil and the late Anna Margaret Malsam Brazil. She worked in the medical records room at a Baptist hospital for 10 years. In addition to her parents, Ms. Matheny was preceded in death by her son- Tony Lovell.

Ms. Matheny is survived by her sons- Tim (Cathy) Matheny of Starkville, MS, Robert (Helen) Lovell of Birmingham, AL, Sam Lovell of Dallas, TX, Danny (Brenda) Lovell of Exeter, CA, And Brian (Sissy) Matheny of Pearl, MS; daughters- Denise (Jeff) Huber of Atlanta, GA, and Elizabeth (Earl) Morgan of Vero Beach, FL; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
