Marilyn Naomi Hughes Seabrooks Marilyn Naomi Hughes Seabrooks, 80 of Columbus, MS passed away, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Graveside services for Mrs. Seabrooks will be Monday, October 31, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the Beersheba Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Seabrooks was born June 22, 1931 in Columbus, MS to the late Charles Gresham and Ila Clarice Westbrook Hughes. She was a lifelong resident of the Columbus area. She was a licensed practical nurse at Aurora Australis Lodge when she retired in 1978. Mrs. Seabrooks was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, she enjoyed crocheting, dough art, needlework, sewing and flowers. Mrs. Seabrooks is survived by her daughters – Sharon Ferguson, Columbus, MS, Susie Marie Latham, Starkville, MS, sons – Kenneth Howard Hughes, LA, John Arnold Seabrooks, LaPeer, MI and George William Seabrooks, Caledonia, MS, sister – Doris Sisson, Columbus, MS and brothers – Charles Lowell Hughes, Columbus, MS and Howard Everette Hughes, Columbus, MS. Pallbearers will be John Seabrooks, George Seabrooks, Wesley Seabrooks, Joseph Seabrooks, Brett Bouchillon and Gary Bouchillon. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Brownlee, Cindy Kerstetter, Nathan Chilcutt and Joe Stuart.
