Mark Allen Bishop, 56, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, August 28, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30, 2017, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Westmoreland officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Bishop was born August 13, 1961, in Columbus, MS to Ann Bishop Harris and the late Charles E. Bishop. He worked as an Electrician for 20 years. Mr. Bishop loved to watch race cars, enjoyed fishing, loved watching Alabama football and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Bishop is survived by his mother- Ann Bishop (Dan) Harris of Columbus, MS; daughters- Heather Carter of Columbus, MS and Brooke Bishop of Vernon, AL; grandchildren- Hunter, Shannon, and Skye Hicks; and brother- Charles E. Bishop, II of Columbus, MS.

Pallbearers will be Terry Ruark, Chuck Duke, Jerry Hicks, Hunter Hicks, Loyd Christmas, Ricky Cowart, and Lane Bobbit.
