Mark Henry Meakins, 75, of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024,  at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, January 10, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Service will be Friday, January 10, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Meakins was born May 14, 1949, in St. Joseph, MO, to the late William "Bill" Meakins and Henrietta June Faubion Meakins. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Mr.  Meakins enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Meakins is preceded in death by his brother- Shaun Meakins.

Mr. Meakins is survived by his granddaughter- Hope Meakins; sons- Tim Meakins, and Thomas (Patty) Meakins; grandchildren- Tori Meakins, Gavin Meakins, and Jarod Meakins; great-grandchildren- Skyelar Geer, Madden Geer, McKinley Camp, and Knox Marchbanks; brothers- Pete (Pam) Meakins, and Glenn Meakins; sisters- Pat Jones, Susan (Wyman) Nold; and host of nieces and nephews,
