Martha Burns, 69, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at her residence.

Visitation will be Friday, October 13, 2023, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A memorial service will follow in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 PM with Bro. Ray Williams officiating.  Lowndes Funeral Home is directing.

Mrs. Burns was born on March 15, 1954 in Columbus, MS to the late Jack and Dorothy Nickles Smith.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved them dearly.  She also enjoyed working in the yard and being with her animals.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother – Ted Smith.

She is survived by her husband – Allen Williams; son – Matt Burns; grandchildren – Carley Burns and Chris Burns; and brother – Jack Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Whitecar, Zyman McCranie, Dan Bryan, Scott Williams, and Robbie Taylor, Michael White.
