Marty L. Goodman, 63, of Columbus, MS, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS entrusted with all arrangements.

Mr. Goodman was born March 1, 1961, in Columbus, MS to Elayne Franks Goodman and Julius "Pete" Goodman. He was a lifelong resident of Columbus/Lowndes County. Mr. Goodman attended New Hope School. He worked in various woodworking shops most of his life. Mr. Goodman was always eager to try new things. He mastered the unicycle as a teenager and motorcycles as an adult. Mr. Goodman loved his dogs.  He enjoyed reading from an early age and never got tired of learning about World War II.  He was preceded in death by his father, Julius "Pete" Goodman.

Mr. Goodman is survived by his mother- Elayne Franks Goodman, brother- Brian (Janet) Goodman, and nephew- Jacob Goodman.
