Marvin Leonard Nickoles, 72, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the VA Medical Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Mr. Nickoles was born May 7, 1945, in Columbus, MS to the late Marvin Nickoles and the late Johnnie Nell Burks Nickoles. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Nickoles loved the lake and going skiing. He was an excellent handyman and could fix anything. In addition to his parents, Mr. Nickoles was preceded in death by his sister- Cecelia Charleston, and his brother- Clinton Nickoles.

Mr. Nickoles is survived by his daughters- Regina (Eugene) Owens of Louisville, KY, and Tammy (Paul) Phillips of Louisville, KY; son- Chris Nickoles of Louisville, KY; sister- Othelia Davis of Columbus, MS; grandchild- Hera Ann Phillips; and a host of nieces and nephews.
