Mary Frances Barham, 81, of Steens, MS passed away Friday, June 10, 2016, at her residence.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 12, 2016, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Kay officiating. Interment will be in Furnace Hill Cemetery, Vernon, AL and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Barham was born April 1, 1935, to the late Joseph Wash and Effie Sanders Dobbins in Vernon, AL. She has lived in the area all her life and was a member of East Columbus Church of Christ, Columbus, MS. Mrs. Barham, as a homemaker, was also a member of the Woodlawn Homemaker Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed genealogy, crocheting, sewing, cooking, and she even had a cookbook published.

Mrs. Barham is survived by her husband of 60 years-Eldon Barham, Steens, MS; daughter-Beverly (Bill) Lannaman, Navarre, FL; sons-Brian (Sallie) Barham, Birmingham, AL: and Terry Barham, West Point, MS; grandchildren-Aaron Brock, Cheryl Herndon,, Allison Sigur, Leslie Sigur, Elizabeth, Alaina Barham, and Hayley Barham and great-grandchildren - Kamrin Brock, Madison Brock, Alyssa Herndon, and Dylan Herndon.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Brock, Jeff Dowdle, Roy Black, Caleb Wilson, Bill Lannaman, and Jason Herndon.
