Mary Louise Barham Baucom, 76, of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hosptial - GT, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 1-2PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A memorial service will follow at 2PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Baucom was born January 5, 1939 in Lowndes County, MS to the late Clarence and Dollye Frances Whitaker Waring Barham. She was of the Protestant Faith. Mrs. Baucom worked in management at McDonalds for 20 years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baucom is preceded in death by her husband - J.D. Baucom; sisters - Ola Mae Brown and Margaret Hopkins and brothers - Lawrence Barham, Clarence Barham, and James Albert Barham. Mrs. Baucom is survived by sons - James Dennis Baucom, Newton, NC and Charles Edward Baucom, Columbus, MS; daughters - Sharon Kay Hunter, Montgomery, TX and Linda Gail Stamps, Collierville, TN; sisters - Hazel Taylor and Laura Glenn, both of Columbus, MS; brother - David Earl Barham, Caledonia, MS; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
