Mary Grace Blalock, age 75, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018, from 11:00 – 12:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at 12:00 PM with Bro. Steve Lammons officiating. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Blalock was born on August 2, 1943, in Lamar County, AL to the late Johnnie Edward and Gladys Hutcherson Nickoles. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blalock was preceded in death by her sister- Martha Shaw and her brother- James Nickoles.

Mrs. Blalock is survived by her husband- Virgil Horace Blalock of Columbus, MS; daughters- Rachel (Michael) West of Columbus, MS and Janet (Kenneth) Barnhill of Louisville, MS; sister- Hazel (Carl) Shelton of Columbus, MS; and grandchildren- Clay Clemmons, Caiden Clemmons, Kinsley West, Joseph Barnhill, Kara Barnhill, Joshua Barnhill, Kaylee Barnhill, and Kristen Barnhill.

Pallbearers will be Paul Brown, Jr., David Lawrence, Brian Custard, Jimmy Ruffin, Keith Swedenburg, and Brad Clemmons.
