Mary Frances Butler, 86, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 11:00 AM with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Butler was born on May 1, 1935 in Jasper, AL to the late Lou Emma Brown Matson and Marquis de Lafayette. She enjoyed reading, gardening, being outdoors and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Butler is preceded in death by her husband- Ermon Butler; brothers- George Matson, and Roy Matson; and sister- Betty Taylor.

Mrs. Butler is survived by her daughter- Diane (Lewis) Townsend of Columbus, MS; son- Butch (Pat) Butler of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Dusty Manzolillo, Danny Townsend, Amanda Butler, and Chris Butler; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister- Ann Gauthier.

Pallbearers will be Chris Butler, Aaron Butler, Ricky Nickoles, Ken Mason, Kevin Stokes, and Eli Graves. Honorary pallbearer will be Dusty Manzolillo.
