Mary Castlebury, 78, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 2-3 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Castlebury was born September 19, 1940, in Monroe County, MS to the late Hilda Rose Pullen, and K.Z. Stevens. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Mrs. Castlebury worked at United Technologies as an assembly line worker then moved on to being an administrator at the Recovery House. She was an avid horse rider and loved horses. Mrs. Castlebury loved her family and friends. Mrs. Castlebury left this world to join her Savior and the love of her life, Elton.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Castlebury is preceded in death by a child- Danny Beaty.

Mrs. Castlebury is survived by her son- Tim Beaty; daughter- Debbie (Wade) Humphreys; grandchildren- Trey (Brianna) Humphreys, Samantha Fox, and Jessica Faulk; 4 great-grandchildren; sister- Marty (Keith) Barksdale; brother – Paul (Terri) Stevens; A host nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
