Mary Lois Rowell Cole, 53, of Millport, AL passed away Monday, October 26 2015, at her residence. Visitation will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 from, 11:00am to 1:00pm at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Crowley officiating. Interment will be at Springhill Cemetery, Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Cole was born November 29, 1961 to the late Wesley Eugene Rowell and Melba Byars Fortner Simpson in Pascagoula, MS. She was the Division Office Manager for Strickland Paper Company, Inc. for 11 years. Mrs. Cole loved gardening and NASCAR racing. But what she loved most of all was her family and spending time with them. She is survived by her husband-Mike Cole, Millport, AL; daughter- Barbara (Mike) Cochrane Byrd, Carrolton, AL; Sister-Lillian (Gerald) "Sissy" Hicks, Gordo, AL; Brother-Albert (Wanda) "Bubba" Rowell, Pascagoula, MS; Grandchildren-Austin Byrd, Katie Byrd, Caden Byrd, Kyla Cole, Michael Cole, Matthew Sides, and Chase Sides; Step Son-Sean Cole. Pallbearers will be Sean Cole, Brad Belcher, Morris Knighton, Jerry Beard, Paul Evans, and Todd Poole.
