Mary Piper Conner, 95, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Trinity Healthcare in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, with Bro. Ben Yarber officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens in Columbus, MS. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS, entrusted with all arrangements.

Mrs. Conner was born October 1, 1929, in Jefferson County, Alabama, to the late Ussery Garland Piper and Amelia Caton Piper. She was the owner of Conners Grocery. She was of Baptist faith and a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Conner worked as a waitress at the Holiday Inn for over 25 years. She loved the Atlanta Braves Baseball and Kansas City Chiefs football. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Conner is preceded in death by her husband- Roy Conner, and daughter- Amy Wallace.

Mrs. Conner is survived by her daughters- Carol Divel, and Mary Ann (Ray) Winders; grandchildren- Cindy Wright, Chuck Divel, Katie Crayton, Hilery Dolan, and Joshua Helton; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Andy Dolen, Leslie Smith, Jeff Crayton, Bo Jarrett, Bobby Helton, and Josh Helton. Honorary Pallbearers will- be Hayden Dozier, Ray Winders, Chuck Divel, Justin Holiday, and the Staff of Trinity Healthcare.
