Mary Frances Fondren, 76, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House, Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be from Friday, December 9, 2016, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Clark Richardson officiating and Rev. Jesse Ray assisting. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Fondren was born October 7, 1940, to the late Arthur and Pearl Tate Daniel in West Point, MS. She was part of the office personnel for Merchants and Farmers Bank, Columbus, MS for over 20 years and was a member of First  Assembly of God, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Fondren is survived by her husband-Orland Wayne Fondren, Columbus, MS; daughter-Christina Fondren, Columbus, MS; brother-Lemmie (Mary) Daniel, Monroe, GA; niece-Susan Daniel; nephew-Chad (Heather) Daniel; special friends-Natalie Warren; Brian, Angie, and Hannah Grace Lutton; Ric, Stacy and Peterson Kids; and Joy Hamby.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Shaw, Dawson Shaw, Benny Yarbrough, Herbert Hughes, Les Walls, and Butch Hill. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Staff and Nurses at Baptist Hospice, Dr. John Phillips and Staff, Staff of Sanctuary Hospice, and First Assembly Tuesday Morning Bible Study. The family would also like to extend special thanks to the Columbus Fire Department and EMT's, Joan Hershberger, and Victoria Seper.
