Mary Ann Reed, 72 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Baptist Memorial- GT, Columbus, MS . A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Reed was born November 17, 1941 in Macon, MS to the late Pearson T. and Winnie Sue Harrell Beaman. She lived in the Columbus and Macon area most of her life, having spent 15 years in Rensselaer, IN. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister-Nellie Sue Beaman. Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband of 52 years- George B. Reed, Columbus, MS; daughter-Alice Reed, Vass, NC; son- George Reed, Lowell, IN; sister- Hattie Beaman Hughes, Reform, AL; brother in law-Jesse Dearl Hughes; grandchildren- Summer Reed, Lindsey Reed Mijares and Blake Reed; great-grandchildren- Cadence Reed, Kyleigh Reed, Izabella Mijares and Bryce Moore.
