Mary Katherine Richardson, 84, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle.

Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jonathan Blackburn officiating.  Interment will be at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Richardson was born April 30, 1938, in Portland, TN to the late Callie Mae Mallard and James Thomas Mallard.  She enjoyed working with cross stitch and crocheting, as well as watching westerns and Hallmark TV.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Richardson is preceded in death by her husband – Donnie Ray Richardson, and brother – James Mallard.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her daughters – Pam (Michael) Wright and Judy (Michael) Howell; a grandchild Lexie Howell, and Niece Mary Ann Douglas.
