Mary Caroline Savage, age 80, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 10:30 AM in Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Bro. Mel Howton officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Savage was born on November 27, 1937, in Maryville, TN to the late Lesley Grant and Virginia Josephine Baker Moore. She was a member of First Christian Church and she worked as an assistant teacher at Kinder Elementary for many years and was also a realtor at Caldwell Banker and Century 21. Mrs. Savage loved to garden and plant flowers. She enjoyed reading books and she also loved children. Mrs. Savage will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Savage is survived by her husband- Bill Gene "B.G." Savage of Columbus, MS; sons- John Savage of Charleston, SC, and Mike (Jackie) Savage of Caledonia, MS; daughter- Suzann (Steve) Blenchard of Charleston, SC; grandchildren- Ashlie (Derrick) McEwen, Katie (John Daniel) Gillon, Matt Savage, Kendyl Davis, Allie Davis, and Macy Davis; great-grandchild- Lucy McEwen; sister- Janice Yawn; and brother- Charles (Martha) Moore.
