Mary  "Mimi" Short Taylor, 68, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, February 17, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Sullivan, IN.

Mrs. Taylor was born on August 3, 1951, to the late Frances Rita Kearney Short and Lt. Col. James Franklin Short in Sullivan, IN.  She was a loving, giving, and kind person. Mrs. Taylor was a great cook.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her sons- Andrew Taylor and David Taylor both of Como, MS; brother- James Franklin (Dena) Short, Jr. of Germantown, TN; grandchildren- Sledge Taylor and Wells Taylor; nephew- Luke Short of Dana Port, CA; and niece- Jamie "Zellie" Short of Manhattan Beach, CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Trinity Sunday Fund.
