Mrs. Mary Jane Taylor, 76 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Service will be Monday, September 18, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Interment will be in Living Faith Tabernacle Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Taylor was born December 28, 1946, in Louisville, MS to the late Cordie Lee Flake Boone and William Lewis Boone. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, New Hope, MS. Mrs. Taylor worked 20 years as an assembler for United Technologies in Columbus, MS. She loved cooking, cleaning, and reading her Bible. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her sons- James Timothy Taylor and  Royce James Taylor; sisters- Byrdie McCool and Cornelia Williams; brothers- Jack Boone, Stevie Boone, James Boone, and Gary Boone.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband- James Royce Taylor; brother- Bill Boone; grandchildren- Brittany Burns, Claudia Hodges, Chelsea Taylor, Jackson Taylor, and Joshua Taylor.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Baswell, Scott Boone, Danny Boone, Sterling McCool, Matt Boone, and Wesley Burns. Honorary Pallbearers will be- Kenneth Romans, Tim White, and Ricky Speed.

Memorials may be made to the First Pentecostal Church in New Hope.
