Maurice "Maury"  Rudolph Black, 54, of Ackerman, MS passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, GT in Columbus, MS.

No arrangements have been made at this time. Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS entrusted with all arrangements.

Maury was born October 7, 1971, in Greenwood, MS to the late Bo Black, Jr. and Becky Downing Black. He was a chef for many years. In addition to his parents, Maury is preceded in death by his wife- Stephanie Black.

Maury is survived by his sister- Amy Elizabeth Black  and numerous aunts, uncles, and other family members.
