May Pauline Jones, 98, Millport, AL passed away Friday, December 21, 2018, at her Residence.

Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2018, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Friday, December 28, 2018, at 1 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Columbus MS with Dr. Bill Hurt officiating and Bro. Davis Honeycutt assisting. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Lowndes Funeral Home Directing.

Mrs. Jones was born May 2, 1920, in Millport, AL to the late Thomas Grady Hughes and Tezzie Lela Waldon Hughes. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Columbus, Ms. Mrs. Jones worked as a nurse for over 40 years for 9 years of those years she worked as a  County Nurse with Mississippi Department of Health. She loved gardening, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Homemakers Club (Lioness).  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her husband-John Cecil Jones; Daughter- Melody Jones; Son-John Haggard; Grandchild-April Johnson.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her Daughters- Alrene Haggard and Andrea (Gray) White; Son-Cecil (Julie) Jones; Grandchildren-Wendy (Mark)  Hysaw, Debra (Adam)  Boyer-Durbiano, Melissa (Mason)  Smith, Madison Mohl, April Campbell, Gary White Jr, Adam White; Great Grandchildren-Katelyn Hunt, Amanda Smith, Abbey Smith, Bailey Smith, Aidan Hysaw, JC Smith, Ella Smith, Krystal Wagley, Stephen White.

Pallbearers will be Mark Hysaw, Marty Caldwell, Trey Caldwell, Cody Parker, Isaiah Wells, Austin Braswell, Kelley Hunt, David Hunt. Honorary Pallbearers will be Danny Hunt, Bruce Patrick, Kin Seto.
