Melinda Carol Sams Harrison, 60, of Columbus, MS, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Harrison was born March 16, 1964, in Memphis, TN, to the late Helen Virginia Boykin and Todd Dean McGonagill. Mrs. Harrison was a hairdresser for 40 years and she worked at Melinda's Beauty Salon. She loved being outdoors, flowers and dragonflies, old antiques, cash registers, and decorating. Mrs. Harrison loved her family, children, and grandchildren dearly.  She loved celebrating the holidays especially Christmas and she loved the residence at Trinity Retirement Community.

Mrs. Harrison is survived by the love of her life- Ernest Lewis; son Todd Blake Williams, daughter- Heather Renea Pohlmann, son- John Thomas Sams; and 8 grandchildren.
