Melissa Sands, age 56, of Steens, MS, passed away on July 25, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – GT in Columbus, MS.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Lowndes Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.

Melissa is preceded in death by her mother – Katherine Boze Rast; and brother – Bobby Rast.  She is survived by her children – Tiffany Presley and Brandon Sands;  and grandchildren – Bryan Sands, Colton Sands, Scarlett Presley, and Ellie Presley.
