Melissia Edmonson Beatty, 58 of Columbus, MS passed away, Monday, March 15, 2021, at her residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 18, 2021, from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 2:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home chapel.

Mrs. Beatty was born April 23, 1962, to the late Dalton and Helen Miles Edmonson in Columbus, MS.  She worked as a dispatcher with a trucking company. Mrs. Beatty enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, riding motorcycles, and fishing.  She was a loving wife, mother, granny, and sister.

Mrs. Beatty is survived by her husband – Lindley Beatty, Jr.; daughter – Amanda Badeau; son – Zachary Phipps; step-daughter – Susan Stafford; step-son – Scott Beatty; grandchildren – Brett Badeau, Brianna Badeau, Brayden Badeau, and Macie McCormick; sisters – Melinda Welch, Myra Rogers, and Michelle DeRouse.
