Merrille Alfred Eaves, 81 passed away on March 19, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.  A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM with Bro. Jimmy Ray officiating.

Mr. Eaves was born in Louisville, MS on December 31, 1934, to the late Taylor and Douglas Caroline Eaves and-and late big brother – John Rod Eaves.  He was employed by B & B construction, Ceco and Eaves Construction and was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church, Louisville, MS.

Mr. Eaves is survived by sons – Ronald Eaves, Wendell Eaves, and Shirley Eaves; grandsons – Jeremy Eaves and Taylor Eaves; 2 granddaughters, 3 great-grandchildren; brothers – Henry D. Eaves and Mike Eaves of Louisville, MS.
