Messiah Jaymes Turner, 1, of Columbus, MS passed away at his home Sunday, May 15, 2022.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS.  Lowndes Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Messiah was born October 12, 2020, in Columbus, MS.  He attended Tomorrow's Pride Early Learning Center.  Messiah loved playing outdoors and with Obi, the pet dog.  He also enjoyed music and songs; Cocomelon, baby shark, and nursery rhymes were his favorites.  Messiah loved playing with his sister "Niyah" and would follow her around and copy all she did.  He enjoyed watching videos on his tablet and riding in the truck with his Papa.  Dinosaurs made everything better for Messiah; whether it was clothes, pictures, or cartoons.  He was funny and loved to laugh.  Messiah joins his grandmother – Debra Turner, in eternity.

Messiah is survived by his mother – Jessica Turner; father – Jarett "Jay" Cooperyoung;  grandfather – Charles Turner; grandmother – Anne Reider;  sister – Jayniah Lynn Turner; and brother – Asher Martin.
