Michael Alan Manning, 66, of Southaven, MS passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Southaven, MS.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Carl Shelton officiating. Interment will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery, Ethelsville, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing.

Mr. Manning was born on February 15, 1955 in Richmond, VA to the late Sarah Joy Brewer Sandlin and James "Jim" Basil Manning. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Manning enjoyed playing his guitar, reading John Grisham books, and gardening. He volunteered his time at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother- James David Manning and sister- Susan Morin.

Mr. Manning is survived by his daughters- Katie (Roger) Kelley, Michelle (David) Dudgeon, Eva Jane Manning; son- Michael Manning, Jr.; grandchildren- Brenna Kelley, Karlie Kelley, Makinley Kelley, Bryce Dudgeon, Brody Dudgeon; sisters- Becky Davis, Sherry Manning, Nancy Moak, Sandra Charlton, Sharon Herrington.

Pallbearers will be Michael Manning, Jr., Roger Kelley, Gary Miller, Leroy "Booger" Davis, Adrian Doyle.
