Michael Todd McKenzie, 51 of Columbus, MS passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-GT, Columbus, MS. Visitation was Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services followed at 2 PM with Bro. Jeff Morgan officiating. Interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mr. McKenzie was born September 7, 1963 in Louisville, MS to the late Thomas Harold and Polly Thomas McKenzie. He moved to Lowndes County 25 years ago from Sturgis, MS. Mr. McKenzie was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and he was a self-employed contractor. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and brother. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister-in-law-Brenda Hazel McKenzie. Mr. McKenzie is survived by his wife- Angela McKenzie, Columbus, MS; son-Michael McKenzie, Maben, MS; daughters- Meagan Holliday and Morgan McKenzie both of Columbus, MS; step-daughters- Brooke Price, Randah Price and Brittany Price all of Columbus, MS; sister- Diann ( Lamar) Allen, Louisville, MS, brothers- George McKenzie, Sturgis, MS and Mickey (Lanitta) McKenzie, Millport, AL and 7 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Tom Hansen, Andrew Hansen, Phillip Hansen, Tommy Watkins, Caleb Davis and Avery Miller.
