Michelle Lee Dismukes Montgomery, 54, of Caledonia, MS passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 12:30 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, MS. A visitation will follow Saturday, July 15, 2017, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Montgomery was born March 3, 1963, in Wichita, KS to the late Bill and Patricia Dismukes. She was an owner and manager of Miz Lou's BBQ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her son Joshua Kyzer and infant brother Jack Dismukes.

Mrs. Montgomery is survived by her lifelong partner- Kenny Vaughn; daughters- Amber Kilby of Beebe, AR and Jordan Kyzer of Columbus, MS; step-daughter- Frances Elizabeth Vaughn; sons- Michael Montgomery and William (Lindsey) Montgomery both of Columbus, MS; grandchildren- Kailee Montgomery, Patricia Michelle Kilby, Aiden Kyzer, Jacob Kyzer, Adyson Buchanan, Tiffany Vaughn, Noah Powers, Jurisha Powers, and Breanna Powers; brother- Elliott Dismukes of Columbus, MS; sisters- Linda Clifton and Sylvia.
