Mildred "Millie" Aldridge, 81, of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle.

Visitation is scheduled from 1:00-2:00 pm, Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Breck Ladd officiating and Bros. Tommy Gillon and Sammy Crawford assisting.  The interment will be at Friendship Cemetery with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Millie was born on August 8, 1941, to the late Lula Agnes Wallace Priddy and C.E. Priddy.  She was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday school classes for over 50 years and served in the clown ministry.  Gardening and growing flowers brought her joy, as well as reading and cross-stitching.  She also enjoyed traveling and was ultimately able to see 49 states.  In addition to her parents, Millie is preceded in death by her brother – Olen Dale Priddy, and sister – Katherine Priddy.

She is survived by her husband – Kenneth Aldridge; son – Ron Aldridge; daughter – Leasha (Chris) Jones; grandchildren – Wes Aldridge, Kelsey (Micah) Thompson, and Madison (Scott) Walker; great-grandchildren – Tanner Thompson, Millie Rose Walker, and Wade Walker; brother – Kenneth (Ann) Priddy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Scott Walker, Jerry Lavender, Robert Atkins, Winfred Sanderson, Russell Caldwell, and Bob Crigler.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Sears and Raylin Cooper, Emily Bates Sunday School class.
