Minnie Starnes Armour, 74, passed away on Wednesday, January  08, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 2-5pm at Lowndes Funeral Home. Private interment will be held at a later date at Wyatt Cemetery, Hornsby, TN.

Ms. Armour was born August 30, 1945, to the late Lamar and Lois Baker Starnes. Ms. Armour was Baptist by faith. She was deeply devoted to her family, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and "Adopted Mother" to many, she will be truly missed by all her knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Boyd Armour, Jr., and daughter Amanda Armour Otts.

She is survived by son: Boyd Armour III, daughter Laura Armour (David) Burton, grandchildren: Hanna Otts, Bridget Otts, Justin (Salem) Barksdale, Lauren Otts Cummings, Jarod Barksdale (Hope Walker); great grandchildren: Amara, Karsyn, Chevvy, Brantley and Scotlynne Rose, brothers: Lamar (Alice) Starnes and Dale Robertson and sister in law: Jean Armour Hodge.
