Minnie Laverne Price, 83, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2019, from 10-11 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the Chapel with Bro. Melvin Mordecai officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Price was born on October 2, 1936, in Vernon, AL to the late Garvin and Millie Hudson Corbell. She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Price loved spending time with family and friends. She married the love of her life Waymon Price on June 8, 1960. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Price is preceded in death by an infant child-Tina Marie Price; brothers- Wesley Corbell, and Curtis "Jim" Corbell; sisters- Ollie Mae Rickman, Ollie Gray "Judy" Coggins, Ruby Atkins, and Catherine Rogers

Mrs. Price is survived by her husband of 59 years- Waymon Price; daughter- Pamela (Richard) Bohon; grandchildren- Tiffany Davidson, and Savannah Perkins.

Pallbearers will be Gene Corbell, Matthew Corbell, Michael Wyers, Hayden Wyers, Matt Perkins, and John Patrick Davidson. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Rogers, Glenn Rickman, Don Rickman, Larry Abrams, and Jason Price.
