Mitchell Edward Burke, 45 of Caledonia, MS passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Caledonia Open Door Worship Center, Caledonia, MS. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Bro. Randy Holmes officiating. Lowndes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Burke was born November 15, 1969 to Myrtle Criddle Burke and the late Charles Edward Burke in Columbus, MS. He lived in Caledonia his entire life and was a graduate of Caledonia High School. Mr. Burke was a member of Caledonia Open Door Worship Center, Caledonia, MS and formerly employed as an electrician with Weathers Electric, Columbus, MS. In addition to his mother, Mr. Burke is survived by his daughter - Carlie Burke; son - Blake Burke; sisters - Cheryl Stewart and Cindy Burke, all of Caledonia, MS, a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
