Mitchell Edward Harrington, who was born on June 9, 1962, won the final battle on this earth on August 5, 2016. He passed at home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mitch was a friend to many. He loved fishing and hunting with his best friend, Chase Henderson. He was a mechanic to anyone in need. Mitch was one of the best uncles to Sydney Pace, Dustin and their two children.

He is preceded in death by his parents Daisy Harrington and Gerald Harrington and his brother Jerry Harrington.

He is survived by the love of his life and lifetime friend of 25 years Beverly Rowan, his daughter Desiree Harrington, one son Kyle Harrington, his sister Debbie Viller, his brother Leonard Harrington and daughter Tyiece Woodward.
