Myra Porter Gore, 68, of Columbus, MS passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A funeral service will follow in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Chris Honeycutt officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Gore was born October 10, 1953 in Columbus, MS to the late Wilma Robertson and Walter V Porter. She was a house keeper in nursing home facilities for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gore is preceded in death by her son- Scott Gore and brother- Allen Porter.

Mrs. Gore is survived by daughters- Wendy Davidson of Columbus, MS, Amanda Jewell of Ethelsville, AL; 3 grandchildren - Dalton Davidson, Harley Davidson and Taylor Jewell; sisters- Emily Bowen, Sharon Polozola, Shelia Stanford, Maxine Sullivan; brothers- Jerry Porter and Stephen Porter.
