Myrtle Ruth Foreman, 78 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Windsor Place, Columbus, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 24, 2014 at 10 AM at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Ray officiating. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Foreman was born December 28, 1935 in Mississippi to the late Simon Yeatman and Ethel Sanders Johnson. She was a member of McBee Baptist Church and worked as a manager at Walmart. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother-Everett Yeatman and her sister-Ann Sellers. Mrs. Foreman is survived by her husband-Luther Foreman, Sr., Columbus, MS; sons- Luther (Shirley) Foreman, Jr. and Mark Foreman both of Columbus, MS; daughters- Deborah (Alvin) Clinton, Columbus, MS and Shelia (Buster) Foreman Stacy, Cocoa, FL; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother-O.M. Johnson and a host of Nieces and Nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Huff, Shaun Foreman, Brian Stacy, Joshua Stacy and Gerald Pritchard.
