Nancy Carroll Wells, 86 of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Vineyard Court Nursing Center, Columbus, MS.
Visitation will be
Friday, January 20, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
in the Atrium at Annunciation Catholic Church, Columbus, MS. The funeral mass will be at
11:00 AM
at Annunciation Catholic Church with Lowndes Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
Mrs. Wells was born May 14, 1930, to the late Mayo and Lillie Hicks Clayton in Montgomery, AL and moved to Columbus in 1976. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, Columbus, MS and a volunteer with the American Red Cross. Mrs. Wells enjoyed cooking, shopping, and gardening. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her daughter – Carol Abney Moody and sister – Cleo White.
Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband – Selvin "Skeet" Wells, Columbus, MS; daughters – Michelle Jones, Chicago, IL and Rosemary Spiewak, Chicago, IL; son – Selvin Conrad Wells, New York, NY, 5 grandchildren – Gerald Woodall, Jr., Nancy Oberts, Kimberly Patino, Lena Wells and Simon Wells and 3 great-grandchildren – Gerald Woodall, III, Sofia Patino and Adam Patino.
