Obituary

Nannie "Nan" Hammack, 74, of Columbus, MS passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Hammack was born November 15, 1942, in Brooksville, MS to the late Chess F. and Ora Faye Harrison Moore. She was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, MS since April 1, 1982. Mrs. Hammack was a secretary at United Technologies for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hammack was preceded in death by her sisters- Stella Ming, Flossie Cummings, Louise McCrary, and Joyce Faye Moore; brothers- Chess Moore, Jr. and Charles Moore.

Mrs. Hammack is survived by her husband- Guy Hammack of Columbus, MS; daughter- Sherry (Jasen) H. Bryant of Columbus, MS; sister- Thelma Abrams of West Point, MS; brother- David (Patsy) Moore; and grandchildren- Olivia Kemp and Abigail Kemp.

Honorary pallbearers are Billy Bozeman's Sunday School Class, and Ethel Ruggles and Joan Burchfield's Sunday School Class.
