Nathan Crowe, 40, passed away May 10, 2022, at his residence in New Hope, MS.

A visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2022, from 3:00-5:00 PM, at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Nathan was a long-time resident of Columbus and attended New Hope High School, where he graduated in the Class of 2000. Although Nathan traveled as a welder, Columbus was where his roots were. He enjoyed fishing, visiting with friends, and spending time with his family. Nathan was extremely funny and loving. He always found a way to make everyone laugh. Nathan loved life and lived it to the fullest. Nathan was an amazing father, brother, and son.
Nathan is in heaven with his grandfathers Kenneth Crowe and Claude "Bill" Bailey and grandmother Anne Bailey. He is survived by his son, Nathan Crowe Jr., and daughters Haley (Austin) McCord of Ecru, MS, and Donna Shemwell of Safford, Arizona; parents - Colleen Crowe of Columbus and K. Dale Crowe of Palacios, TX; brother - Matthew Crowe of Gladstone, ND, and sister - Jessica (Chris) Benson of Irmo, SC; nephews- Zachary Crowe of Twenty-Nine Palms, CA, Kenneth and Draco Benson of Irmo, SC; nieces- Alicia Benson of Plantation, FL, Courtlyn and Mekenna Benson of Irmo, SC. Along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, he also had close friends that were like family.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Crowe Jr., Zachary Crowe, Kenneth Benson, Kolby Jones, and Shane Tubbs.
