Norma C. Wooten, 78, of Columbus, MS, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mrs. Wooten was born November 28, 1945, in Trenton, MO, to the late William Hamilton and Shirley Bain Hamilton. She worked as a machinist in manufacturing for many years. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wooten is preceded in death by her sister- Bert Javis, and brother- Bill Hamilton.

Mrs. Wooten is survived by her husband- William Wooten,  sister- Becky (John) Creek;  nieces- Debby Hoffman, Stacey Hamilton, and Shenny (Terry) Black; nephews- Jim McLey, Steve (Wendi) Flood, Ed Flood, Bill Hamilton, Brad Hamilton, and Johnny Lane; stepdaughters- Tammy (A.J.) Singh, and Christine (Kenny) Hideman.
