Norman Thomas Maleta, 80 of Columbus, MS passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020, at his residence.

Services are pending and will be announced by Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Maleta was born on August 20, 1939, in Hackensack, NJ to the late Thomas and Lucille Paolino Maleta. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, Columbus, MS.  After his retirement from the Air Force, Mr. Maleta was employed with Dyncorp as a lead man on the flight line for 20 years.

Mr. Maleta is survived by his wife – Margaret Fitzgerald Maleta, Columbus, MS; sons – John Fitzgerald Maleta, Michael Maleta, and Wayne Maleta; grandson – Anthony Maleta; brother – Larry Maleta and sister – Patty Deriso.
