Novel Gene Hollis, 55, of Columbus, MS passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT in Columbus, MS.

Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Hollis was born December 14, 1963 to the late Ophelia Hollis and the Novel Hollis in Bruce, MS. He worked in the furniture manufacturing industry and as a mechanic. In addition to his parents Mr. Hollis is preceded in death by his sister- Judy Gouine; nephews- Zack Morris and Andrew Hollis.

Mr. Hollis is survived by his wife- Brenda McAllister Hollis of Columbus, MS; children- Marty Clifton, Jamie Carpenter, Craig Schmitz, Stacey Schmitz, JR Lollar, Samantha Martin, William Tutor; step-mother- Cheryl Hollis; sister- Mandy Morris; brothers- JR Hollis, George Hollis, John Hollis, Andy Hollis; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
