Ollie Mae Chandler, 85, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Pruitt Health of Santa Rosa in Milton, FL. Visitation will be Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Young officiating and Bro. Randy Holmes assisting. Interment will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Millport, AL with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Chandler was born December 9, 1929 to the late Charles Thurman Pennington and Willie Jane Elliot Pennington in Lamar County, AL. She was a dietitian and attended Pine Terrace Baptist Church in Milton, FL. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband-Clovis H. Chandler, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Mrs. Chandler is survived by her daughter- Alice (Jack) Canny, Milton, FL; sister-Robbie Harmon, Millport, AL; grandchildren-Jennifer Bouchard, Sean Canny, and Aaron (Carla) Canny, Atlanta, GA; great grandchild-Evan Bouchard; sister in law-Betty Pennington, Millport, AL; nieces, nephews and a large extended family of great nieces great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
